Hurricane Floyd came right for us and then at the last minute, it turned north and missed us.  It still came close enough that we had to make preparations.

When hurricane Floyd passed nearby...

...everyone was urged to make preparations.

Even the local Wal-Mart put plywood on their windows.

We made our preparations.

Most of the house had hurrican shutters.

Only a few windows needed plywood.

Everything outside had to be brought inside.

If it didn't fit in the shed, we had to bring it inside.
