Hey its 5:45 am and I
can't sleep. It started with getting paged by a support client
at about 3 AM. Five beers later I've created the "She Said - He
Said" journal with CGI Maintenance scripts (web based posting
just like the cookbook). I figure if we're going to routinely
write in this journal it might as well be easy to post.
While I’m still awake, I’d like to take a moment to introduce
this new section of our web to both you and Andie….
Lately we’ve been pretty guilty of not keeping things up to date
on the site. So much goes on here and we sometimes forget to let
everyone know what we’ve been doing. Andie is much better at
writing friends and family than I am so I expect her to really
get interested in this new journal feature.
So… here is the latest news (as I see it at 5:50am)
Big surprise…. Andie is really getting into Halloween this year.
Last year was a pretty big let-down since it rained. This year
we’ve got the entire front porch done up with spider webs and
other assorted Halloween decorations. Its funny how she makes me
clean up the real spider webs before putting up fake ones. We’ve
got a bubble machine now and plan on blasting bubbles all over
the neighborhood during Halloween. We’ve stocked up on no less
than 10 pounds of candy. If I control myself, there should still
be 3 or 4 pounds available to the Trick-or-Treaters.
When we came back from Joplin, Andie completely re-arranged the
house. The dining room and half the living room got moved to the
den. the den got moved to the dining room and the living room
got scattered around the house. Various other stuff got moved
about and some things wound up at the curb on trash day. While
skeptical at first (as you can imagine) it has grown on me. I
should just trust her when it comes to stuff like this. She has
much better taste than I do. After all, I still think you can
make furniture out of cinder blocks and lumber.
Anyway… I think I’m finally ready for bed so I’ll finish my last
beer and quit rambling. |
