English Rice Pudding (from WW11)


Ingredient List:

1 large tin of canned milk
3/4 cup of long grain rice
2 tbsp. of butter (or marg.)
pinch of salt
1/2 tsp. of nutmeg
3 or 4 tbsp. of sugar (to taste)
water (1 full can)

Preparation Instructions:

preheat oven to 300

In a deep 2 quart baking dish Mix:

All of the above ingredients.

optional: 1/3 cup of raisins or other dried fruit can be added.

Bake one hour.

Note: If liquid evaperates to fast, add a bit more water. This is a pudding eaten with a spoon, not the kind you cut.
