Mike's Rum-Runner 3.0

Ingredient List:

3 ounces White Rum
3 ounce Dark Rum
2 ounces crème de banana
2 ounces blackberry flavored brandy
2 ounces Grenadine
2 ounces of lime juice (or 1 ounce of key lime juice)
Ice to 24 ounces of volume in Blender

Preparation Instructions:

I always hate it when drink recipes tell you to “add ice.” This really doesn’t help at all. The idea is to tell us exactly how much ice to add, in order to precisely duplicate the desired result. Well, here you go. Just make sure your blender is marked for ounces.

I’m not sure of the origin of the name “Rum Runner.” If it has anything to do with “running” as much rum (or alcohol) as possible in a drink, then this fits the bill. Since I’m a computer geek… I should tell you this is revision 3.5 (build 4)

Here are the actual instructions:
Combine all ingredients in blender and add ice to bring total volume to 24 ounces. Hit the “go” button on the blender. Don’t look for an end result that is slushy unless your alcohol is chilled. It should pour into the glass without too much resistance. (Serves two 12 ounce drinks)
